Change management Strategy / Plan
Defining the change management project
The objective of the change management plan (or strategy) is to define the change management project:
- Study the support needs of the different “targets”
- Define the main principles of change management in terms of documentation, training, communication, support
- Define the responsibilities in implementing the change management actions
- Define the constraints to be respected in terms of planning and expenses
To construct a change management plan with our clients we follow a clear objective: define in advance a coordinated group of complementary actions, adapted to each type of target.
The change management plan includes:

Oresys Training offers an original approach to define and study targets and impacts by setting up and leading a prevention group. The prevention group’s objectives are to:
- Anticipate the reactions of the different targets involved in implementation of the new application
- Highlight the potential obstacles to appropriation of the application and their impact on the project objectives
- Identify, where necessary, the complementary measures to be taken to deal with the most critical points
This technique is used when appropriation of a computer system is essential to the success of the project. It is based on a founding principle: as the training is intended for “targets” of users, some of them take part in the process. The choice is then made to proceed in a specifically selected working group.
The results of the prevention process are:
- Assessment by the Group of the level of risk linked to appropriation of the application and the underlying principles
- Identification of this risk in relation to the targets, certain major functional points, aspects of organisation and conditions of using the system
- The preventive measures that arise from the participants, methods of application.
